The
plant, Viridi spicatus is the producer in this food web. Apart from this, there
is 1 one herbivore, 2 carnivores, 1 omnivore and 1 fungi. The herbivore,
Suaviter furorem feeds on the Viridi spicatus but needs to compete with the omnivore, Duplici cicapitatus for consumption of
the plant. The Duplici cicapitatus, however, has another source of food as
well, which is the carnivore, Panthera camelus. Duplici cicapitatus maintains a
predator-prey relationship with the
Panthera camelus. Both of the carnivores, Ungues parva and Panthera camelus
prey on the herbivore, Suaviter furorem. Hence, these two carnivores would have
to compete with each other to eat
the Suaviter furorem. However, Suaviter furorem is not the only source of food
for Panthera camelus. Panthera camelus eats Ungues parva and is the only predator of Ungues parva. After any of
these organism die, the fungi, Anti-corrosio boletus decomposes them by
breaking down the dead matter into simpler substances and returns the nutrients
back to the soil. Eventually, the nutrients returned to the soil during
decomposition helps the plant, Viridi spicatus’ growth.
In
conclusion, to make a clearer picture, these are the food chains which show the
relationship among all of the abovementioned organisms.
